Big News: I’ve Launched a Buy Me a Coffee Page!

Portrait with koala

I’m absolutely thrilled to share something super exciting with you today: I’ve just launched my very own Buy Me a Coffee page

If you’ve been following my adventures capturing the soulful beauty of wildlife and nature through my lens, this is a fun new way to support my work and keep the wild vibes flowing. Let me tell you all about it and why I’m so pumped to have you along for the ride!

A Little About My Journey

For those who don’t know, I’m Mihaela, a self-taught photographer with a deep love for the natural world. After a 20+ year career at Microsoft, I took a leap of faith in 2020 to pursue my lifelong dream of full-time nature and wildlife photography. Now, I spend my days chasing golden light, seeking beauty in the ordinary, and forging connections with the wild through my camera. Every photo I share on www.limberea.com is a piece of my heart, and I’m so grateful to have a community that loves nature as much as I do!

What’s Buy Me a Coffee All About?

So, what’s this Buy Me a Coffee thing? It’s a super simple and fun way for you to support my photography journey. Think of it as treating me to a virtual coffee (or maybe a roll of film!) to help keep my creative spark alive. Whether it’s a one-time tip or just sharing my page with friends, every little bit goes a long way toward funding new adventures, gear, and those early-morning treks to catch the perfect shot.

On my Buy Me a Coffee page, you can:

  • Drop a small donation (starting at just a few bucks) to help me keep creating.
  • Check out my work and get a glimpse of the wildlife moments I’m capturing.
  • Connect with me—I love hearing from you, so feel free to leave a note when you visit!

Plus, it’s all set up to be quick and easy, with secure payments through Stripe or PayPal. No pressure at all—just a way for those who love my photography to give a little high-five to keep the magic happening.

Why Your Support Means the World

Running a photography business isn’t just about snapping pretty pictures (though that’s the fun part!). There’s gear to maintain, travel to plan, and endless hours spent editing to make sure every image shines. Your support through Buy Me a Coffee helps cover those costs and lets me focus on what I love most: bringing the beauty of the wild to you. Whether it’s a lion’s piercing gaze, a misty forest sunrise, or a cheeky bird stealing the show, every photo is a story I get to share because of folks like you.

And here’s the cool part: when you support me, you’re also helping spread the love for nature. My work is all about celebrating our planet’s wonders and inspiring others to protect it. So, in a way, you’re part of that mission too!

How to Get Involved

Ready to check it out? Just head over to Buy Me a Coffee page and take a peek! If you feel like tossing a virtual coffee my way, I’ll be doing a happy dance in the woods.

Don’t have a spare coffee to share? No worries at all—spreading the word by sharing my page with friends or following along on Instagram or Facebook is just as awesome.

Oh, and if you have any questions or ideas (maybe a dream wildlife shot you’d love to see?), hit me up through the Contact form on my website. I’m always down to chat about photography, nature, or just life in general!

A Big Thank You

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my journey! Whether you’re buying a print from my shop, liking a photo on social media, or now supporting me on Buy Me a Coffee, your encouragement keeps me going. I can’t wait to share more wild moments with you and see where this adventure takes us next.

So, what are you waiting for? Pop over to my Buy Me a Coffee page, grab a virtual coffee, and let’s keep celebrating the beauty of nature together!

Happy exploring,

Mihaela

Fog in a dark forest

‘Cold blows the wind to my true love,
And gently drops the rain,
I never had but one sweetheart,
And in greenwood she lies slain.

‘I’ll do as much for my sweetheart
As any young man may;
I’ll sit and mourn all on her grave
For a twelvemonth and a day.’

When the twelvemonth and one day was past,
The ghost began to speak:
‘Why sittest thou here all day on my grave,
And will not let me sleep?’

‘There’s one thing that I want, sweetheart,
There’s one thing that I crave;
And that is a kiss from your lily-white lips –
Then I’ll go from your grave.’

‘My breast it is as cold as clay,
My breath smells earthly strong;
And if you kiss my cold clay lips,
Your days they won’t be long.

‘Go fetch me water from the desert,
And blood from out of a stone;
Go fetch me milk from a fair maid’s breast
That a young man never had known.’

‘O down in yonder grove, sweetheart,
Where you and I would walk,
The first flower that ever I saw
Is withered to a stalk.

‘The stalk is wither’d and dry, sweetheart,
And the flower will never return;
And since I lost my own sweetheart,
What can I do but mourn?

‘When shall we meet again, sweetheart?
When shall we meet again?’
‘When the oaken leaves that fall from the trees
Are green and spring up again,
Are green and spring up again.’

Garden Lady’s-mantle (Alchemilla mollis) from my garden. I didn’t do much editing this month as I’ve been working in the garden (it’s finally gardening season!) and then preparing for several weeks safari in South Africa.

Red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), Lidingö (Sweden)

I did find time to edit a few quick snapshots of squirrels, though 😍.

 It sifts from Leaden Sieves –
It powders all the Wood.
It fills with Alabaster Wool
The Wrinkles of the Road –

It makes an Even Face
Of Mountain and of Plain —
Unbroken Forehead from the East
Unto the East again –

It reaches to the Fence –
It wraps it, Rail by Rail,
Till it is lost in Fleeces –
It flings a Crystal Veil

On Stump and Stack – and Stem —
The Summer’s empty Room –
Acres of Seams where Harvests were,
Recordless, but for them –

It Ruffles Wrists of Posts
As Ankles of a Queen, —
Then stills its Artisans – like Ghosts –
Denying they have been –

Emily Dickinson (1830 – 1886) was one of the most original American poets. She is considered one of the most important American poets of the 19th century, along with Walt Whitman.
